Finn Harps played their final home game of the season last night – but they lost out again, this time to Drogheda United who came from behind to win 3-2.
Harps were in front inside the opening minute through Caolan mcAleer but Drogheda hit back with second half goals from Mulhall, Byrne and Meaney. McAleer scored again in the final minute, but it wasn’t enough to deny Drogheda a first league win in some six months.
The home side missed several good chances with the game at 1-0 – and as Ollie Horgan agreed afterwards – that’s what probably cost them the points in the end…
