The Government’s handling of the Commonage Management Plans has been heavily criticised by Donegal Deputy Charlie McConalogue.
The Fianna Fail Agriculture Spokesperson, challenged Minister Michael Creed on the delay of GLAS payments for farmers who have yet to submit their Commonage Management Plans.
In an exchange in the Dail Deputy McConalogue said the 2 and a half week period by which farmers were given to submit the plans was unacceptable:
