Update: Omagh security alert ended

A security alert in the Drumragh Avenue area of Omagh has now ended.
Police have confirmed that the device found at the scene was a viable pipe bomb type device which has been taken away for further forensic examination.
The area was cordoned off for most of the day while Police dealt with the incident.
Chief Constable George Hamilton said: “This small but potentially dangerous device was left to cause the maximum amount of disruption to the Remembrance Sunday commemorations.”
