Government quizzed over undocumented Irish in America


A Donegal Deputy has questioned the Government on what action is being taken to address the issue of the undocumented Irish in America.
During an exchange in the Dail last evening, Deputy Charlie McConalgue asked Minister Ciaran Cannon for a report on discussions with officials in America in relation to immigration reform and future plans to meet with officials across the Atlantic to move forward on the issue of the undocumented.
Deputy McConalogue says it is an issue affecting many Irish families and it is unfortunately all too common an occurrence that families are kept apart:
