Medal haul in Limerick for Donegal Rowers


Donegal rowers returned from Limerick at the weekend with medals from the Irish Provinces Indoor competition.
Danny Ryan won two gold and a bronze in his age category.
He won the 2k and 500m lightweight races while he finished third in the 1k heavyweight event.
Danny also set a new Irish lightweight record in the 40-49 age group.
Keane Ryan took gold winning the u23 2k race and followed that with a silver in the 500m open lightweight event.
Cloughaneely’s Bernard Doohan also took bronze in the 40 to 49 group 2k race.
Aiden Greene of Kincasslagh won silver in the under 23 2k, Dinny McCullagh, Cloughaneely won bronze in the men’s lightweight 2k 30 to 39 age group and 8 year old Shaun Doohan was 6th in the under 13 500m.
