Strabane PSNI keen to speak with driver who stopped to help injured taxi driver

Police in Strabane are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of a dark coloured Passat CC.
The vehicle was travelling along the Melmount Road at approximately
2:30am yesterday morning.
The male driver had stopped to assist a male taxi driver who had been assaulted whilst conveying a fare.
Police are appealing to the driver or anyone who may know the driver to contact them on 101.
