Mark English won the mens 800m crown at the National Indoor Championships in Dublin earlier today.
English, running for UCD, finished ahead of fellow Donegal and UCD runner Karl Griffin to claim the title. 1.53.54 was enough for English to ensure a finish ahead of Griffin.
John Kelly of Finn Valley AC set a new Donegal record as well as a Personal Best with a 17.53m throw in the shot putt.
