Rise in number of patients waiting on a bed at LUH today

There has been a slight rise in the number of people waiting on a bed this morning at Letterkenny University Hospital.
According to the INMOs latest Trolley and Ward Watch Report there were 24 patients awaiting admission to the hospital, 14 of those were on trolleys in the hospital’s Emergency Department with a further 10 on wards.
Nationally, 578 people were waiting admission to hospitals across the country today with University Hospital Limerick the most overcrowded.
