British MPS say there might not be time to introduce ‘invisible’ border


A group of British MPs thinks their government won’t have time to introduce so-called “invisible” customs arrangements at the Irish border before Brexit.
The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee wants ministers to clarify how they’ll ensure the current frictionless barrier will continue.
The members think the UK may need to remain in – or parallel to – the Customs Union and Single Market throughout a two-year transition period.
