A man has been left shaken after a charity collection bucket was snatched from his hands by a passing car.
The incident happened at approximately 12 midday yesterday in the area of Bridgend.
In the course of the incident it’s reported the collecter tried to regain possesion of the bucket and was assualted in the process.
The vehicle then left the scene with the collection bucket.
Gardaí say the vehicle in question had a southern registration and has no connection to a car found on fire in Derry yesterday afternoon.
