Fodder crisis: Government didn’t listen to Donegal farmers, says TD


The Government responded in a haphazard way to earlier concerns raised by farmers in Donegal over a shortage of fodder leading to the crisis now gripping the country.
That’s according to Donegal Deputy Thomas Pringle who says the crisis could have been avoided if Minister Creed responded to concerns first raised by farmers and public representatives before Christmas.
Deputy Pringle says some co-ops have taken action of their own as a result of Government inaction:
