A Donegal Deputy has called on the Taoiseach to ensure the future of farm families and their incomes can be protected over the coming years.
The European Commission has announced a 5% cut to CAP funding as part of the EU’s 2021-2027 budget.
Fianna Fáil Agriculture Spokesperson and Donegal Deputy Charlie McConalogue says CAP payments account for around 75% of total farm incomes, and says any reduction will have a detrimental impact on farmers and their families.
