A Letterkenny Councillor says there’s no doubt that the amount of money being provided for road and other infrastructural projects in the town and surrounding area has fallen drastically since the abolition of the Town Council.
Cllr Ciaran Brogan says projects such as the recently opened Tadhg Culbert Car Park show what can be achieved when the council is given money and allowed do what needs to be done.
He is calling for an urgent review into how projects in the urban area are planned, assessed, and funded:
