The Tánaiste says Irish peacekeepers in Lebanon are safe, following an escalation in the region overnight.
Lebanon’s National News Agency says 2 people were killed, including a child – when Israel responded to rockets fired from Lebanon, with airstrikes in the south of the country.
Hezbollah denies it was involved.
