Derry’s Daryl Gurney survived an enormous scare to scrape through to the second round of the BetVictor World Matchplay darts.
The world number 5 saw his opponent Steve West miss 11 match darts, before edging through 12-10 in a tie-break at Blackpool Winter Gardens.
