Irish Water has issued a statement in response to concerns raised over the incorrect issuing of booklets in Fanad and Moville.
A number of residents in both areas received booklets from the utility informing them that they were being served from a supply which was being treated for crytosporidium or contained elevated levels of THMs.
Irish Water say they have received information that a limited number of booklets may have been issued in error and have advised customers who have any queries to contact their customer care line.
However, Councillor Liam Blaney, who called for urgent clarity on the matter says he has yet to receive a response from the utility:
