Government urged to focus more on development of rural Ireland

 

There’s a call for more focus from the Government on the development of rural Ireland.
The Irish Hotels Federation’s making the call at its Annual Conference in Killarney in County Kerry today.
The average national room occupancy rate for hotels dropped to 72% in 2018, compared to 74% the previous year.
Irish Hotels Federation President Michael Lennon says hotels in rural areas are finding things difficult:
