Derry PSNI investigate pipe bomb explosion

Police in the North are investigating a pipe bomb explosion in Derry.
It happened at around 2am this morning in the front garden of a house in Montgomery Close.
No damage was caused to the property, however police say those inside the house were very lucky to escape injury.
Detectives investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses.
