New buses for Donegal as Bus Eireann announce major passenger growth

 

Bus Éireann’s passenger numbers are at a ten year high.
The company said it carried over 83 million passengers in the last year.
It’s also turned its finances around – seeing an operating profit of one-point-six million euro.
Over 100 new buses are being introduced this year – with double deckers for Cork City, Galway and Limerick.
Low floor accessible buses are to be introduced in parts of Donegal.
The new fleet of buses will all offer on board wifi, as well as individual USB charging points at each seat.
