A petition calling for the Bonagee Link in Letterkenny to be fast tracked has already garnered over 3,000 signatures.
The online petition was set up in recent weeks by Local Election Candidate Donal Coyle.
He believes that this shows that the project is a top priority for the people of the town and the surrounding area and says Donegal County Council must progress it as a matter of urgency:
