Donegal had lowest household income in the state in 2016

Once again, Donegal has the lowest income in the country, with an average household income of €32,259, compared to the national average of €45,256.
That’s acording to the CSO, which has just published figures for 2016.
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown had the highest median income in 2016 at €66,203, just over twice the Donegal figure.
