A residents committee is due to be set up with a view towards highlighting a number of ongoing issues affecting communities in the Long Lane area of Letterkenny.
Derelict properties, anti-social behaviour and the under-development of green areas are set to top the agenda, once the committee has been formed.
The first meeting of the Long Lane Residents Association is taking place tomorrow evening at 7pm in the Doorway Project.
Community Activist Finn O’Donnell is urging people to attend and says local residents must unite as one to send a strong message to Donegal County Council:
