31 people awaiting in-patient beds at LUH

There were 31 people awaiting in-patient beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, five of them on Emergency Department trolleys.
That’s up seven on yesterday’s figure, with Letterkenny the fourth most overcrowded hospital in the state today.
Nationally, the INMO says 597 admitted patients were waiting for beds across the country this morning, with the highest number, 65, recorded at University Hospital Limerick.
