Up to 400 jobs could be on the way for Inishowen with plans underway to house a new call centre in Buncrana.
The proposed centre would be located on the site of the Old Fruit of the Loom Factory in the town.
It’s understood that prominent businessman Patrick Doherty is behind the plans and has lodged an application to Donegal County Council seeking to convert the old building into a call centre.
Local Cllr Jack Murray has given a cautious welcome to the developments but says if the plans come to fruition it’ll be the major boost Buncrana badly needs:
