Number of Donegal people receiving PUP continues to fall

The number of people in receipt of the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in Donegal continues to fall.
7,200 people in the county are receiving the PUP payment this week, down 11% on the previous week and down a huge 68% since May 5th.
Meanwhile, 300 people in Donegal over the past week closed their unemployment payment.
Nationally, there’s been a decrease of just over 30,000 people claiming the Pandemic Unemployment Payment since last week.
