LUH Gynae report may be available next week – MacMahon

A Bristol based consultant whose sister died in Letterkenny University Hospital says she understands the report of a review of Gynaecological Clinical Services at the hospital will be available next week.
Dr Margaret MacMahon, a native of Letterkenny, had led calls for a review of the diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological cancers at the hospital, amidst concerns that a number of cancers may have been missed.
Dr MacMahon says she understands some patients and relatives have now been invited to meetings at the hospital, and says if that is the case, there are some points they should consider……….
