Lecky Road open again after Derry security alert

The Lecky Road area of Derry’s Bogside was closed for a time last night as a result of a security alert that started just before 9 o’clock last night.
Army experts examined a suspicious object discovered in the area, before declaring it to be nothing untoward.
All roads in the area reopened to traffic shortly before 11 o’clock.
