Warriors beat the Knights at Stormont

The North West Warriors put on a big-hitting display on Tuesday to overpower the more-fancied Northern Knights in the Inter-Provincial Cup match at Stormont.

William Porter and William McClintock starred with 73 runs each for the Warriors who batted first and ended on 298/7 in their 50 overs.

The Knights couldn’t catch the visitors in return and were all out for 236.

Craig Young took 4-55 as the Warriors won by 62 runs to make it back to back victories in the competition.

The sides meet again at Bready on Friday.
