Almost 50 people are waiting on a bed at hospitals in the North West today.
According to the INMO’s Trolley Watch report, 27 people are awaiting a bed at Letterkenny University Hospital – 6 in the Emergency Department and 21 on wards in the hospital.
Meanwhile, at Sligo University Hospital, 22 patients are waiting for beds, 16 of them are waiting in ED with 6 on wards.
A total of 283 admitted patients are waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
