There were a number of Donegal medals winners at Wednesday’s Manchester International Athletics Meet.
The High Jump was won by Finn Valley’s Sommer Lecky, jumping 1.78m.
Gareth Crawford of Lifford Strabane AC took bronze in the Javelin and in the process set a new Donegal record and Personal Best throw. Crawford’s throw was 67.46m.
Finn Valley’s Cara Laverty and Letterkenny’s Ryan Canning also won bronze medals in the 800m and 400m races.
In total eleven athletes from Donegal were part of the Northern Ireland and Ulster team which competed in senior and u20 events at the Manchester Regional Arena.
