Donegal’s Road Safety Officer is reminding motorists to be more mindful on the roads, as most children return to school this week.
Brian O’Donnell says motorists will need to adjust to the return of schools, and the extra traffic delays and road safety concerns that brings with it – including driving more carefully around busy school areas, or never overtaking a school bus that is dropping off or picking up children.
He is asking motorists to be considerate and aware of children on the roads as they return to schools:
