The HSE’s expected to meet with patient advocates today to finalise new guidelines on access for partners to maternity units.
Many have been unable to attend scans, labour and childbirth during the pandemic, despite facilities being urged to allow visits.
Last night, the Taoiseach said the new guidelines on maternity access will be published in the coming days.
