506 people were waiting on hospital beds across the country this morning, the highest figure since the start of the pandemic.
Letterkenny University Hospital was the second most overcrowded facility in the country with 57 admitted patients awaiting a bed, ten more than yesterday.
21 of those were on Emergency Department trolleys.
In Sligo, meanwhile, 30 people were awaiting beds, 21 of them in the ED.
