Last call for entries as Donegal Enterprise Awards deadline approaches

Next Monday is the deadline for entries in the Donegal Enterprise Awards.

The Donegal Local Enterprise Office says small businesses, sole traders and start-ups faced unimaginable challenges over the past 18 months, and these awards are about celebrating their resilience and brilliance.

Applicant businesses must have less than 50 employees and must have been in receipt of direct LEO supports.

The Donegal Enterprise Awards are back for 2021. Organised by Local Enterprise Office Donegal, the awards celebrate the achievements of Donegal’s small business community. Awards include Best Established Award, Best Start Up Award, and Best Donegal Enterprise Innovation Award. Other categories include The Food Coast Enterprise Award, The Creative Coast Enterprise Award, and the Donegal Engineering Cluster Enterprise Award. Small business owners in the county are encouraged to enter the awards before next Monday’s deadline. 

 

Speaking about the awards, Michael Tunney, Head of Enterprise Donegal said: “Small businesses, sole traders and start-ups faced unimaginable challenges over the past 18 months, and these awards are about celebrating their resilience and brilliance. Applicant businesses must have less than 50 employees and must have been in receipt of direct Local Enterprise Office supports; the full details of the eligibility can be found on our website. The Donegal Enterprise Awards are an ideal opportunity to raise the profile of your business, as our previous finalists and winners have found. The overall prize fund is €12,000 and I would encourage any small business who fits the eligibility criteria to apply”.
