Letterkenny University Hospital had the country’s highest number of admitted patients awaiting beds this morning, with 52 in total, 13 of them on Emergency Department trolleys.
Sligo University Hospital had 30 patients awaiting beds, 16 of them in the EU, a North West total of 82, which represents 21% of the national total of 391.
