The Department of Health has confirmed 4,004 new cases of Covid-19 in the Republic of Ireland this afternoon.
The number of people in hospitals with the virus has continued to fall, with 481 patients currently being treated in the country’s hospitals for the virus, down 30 on yesterday.
111 patients are in ICU with the disease, up 1 from Friday’s number.
