A security alert on Derry’s Waterside has ended.
The alert was sparked by the discovery of a suspicious object in the Campsie area shortly after 3 o’clock this morning.
Police and army technical experts attended the scene on the Clooney Road ; the object was examined and declared as nothing untoward.
The access road to the Covid test centre has now reopened.
