Investigations into criminal activity in Donegal are continuing.
This week an operation was conducted by Gardaí from Milford assisted by the Armed Support Unit, the Garda Dog Unit and other Divisional Units.
A firearm, a number of rounds of ammunition and a stolen motorcycle were recovered following a search of a house and lands in Kilmacrennan on Tuesday.
A man in his 40s was arrested, charged and was expected to appear before Letterkenny District Court this week.
Gardai say the investigation is ongoing.
