There’s been a 10% increase in the number of people on the Live Register.
Figures from the CSO show the seasonally adjusted figure went up by 17,000 in March to 181,900.
The Pandemic Unemployment Payment scheme has ended, with the final payments being issued in respect of the week ending February 25th.
All claimants have either been transferred to a job seekers scheme or had their PUP claim closed.
