A extension project at Glenmaquin National School in Letterkenny is a step closer to reality.
Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Charlie McConalogue has confirmed that the project has received approval to move to construction stage.
A new classroom and toilets will be delivered as part of the project under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme.
