An emergency housing meeting is taking place in the Glenties Municipal District today.
As homelessness increases in the region, there are renewed calls for vacant properties to be brought back into use.
Councillor Micheal Cholm MacGiolla Easbuig also believes Donegal County Council needs to be more proactive in securing land to build homes.
