RSA call for action after eight people die on Irish roads over Bank Holiday Weekend

The Road Safety Authority is looking at ways of ensuring more visible policing on the country’s roads.

It’s after the Bank Holiday weekend saw 8 people die in a series of road traffic accidents across the country, including the deaths of two people in Sligo.

The RSA is concerned at the road death toll so far this year, which currently stands at 78.
