Seven closure orders have been served on food businesses in Donegal, Dublin, Wexford, Monaghan and Offaly, compelling them to shut their doors until the problems are resolved.
The Donegal order was issued on the Mart Cafe at Raphoe Mart on May 6th, and remains in force.
A number of issues were highlighted, including the cleanliness of the premises, food storage protocols, availability of hand washing facilities and the presence of flies.
