Expert says mask mandates should be brought back in crowded spaces

There are calls for the return of the mask mandate, following a surge in Covid cases.

Yesterday the number of hospital admissions stood a 515, an increase from last week’s 355.

Dr Tony Holohan sent the government a letter last week, warning that hospitals are under ‘increased pressure’.
