Calls for Ulster Bank to remain until customer secure alternative banking

A Donegal County Councillor is calling for Ulster Bank should stay in the Irish market until its customers have secured alternative banking.

The bank is closing its four branches in the county and withdrawing from the Irish market with Permanent TSB taking over the branches.

Cllr Ciaran Brogan believes the Financial Regulator has a role to play to ensure customers have appropriate access to banking services:
