Monaghan to start hunt for new manager

Seamus McEnaney has stepped down as manager of the Monaghan senior footballers.

The Farney men exited the championship after losing to Mayo in the first round of the qualifiers.

McEnaney has been in charge since 2019, in what is his second stint as manager.

He guided the county to last year’s Ulster final, where they suffered a one-point defeat to eventual All-Ireland champions Tyrone.
