Concern has been raised over the level of medical care being provided on Tory Island.
The nurse stationed on the island has been on annual leave since Thursday. Residents were without medical provision for a week at Easter also.
A number of people had to be transferred to Letterkenny University Hospital on Saturday after becoming unwell.
