Mona McSharry was just three-hundredths of a second off her own Irish record as she qualified for the final of the 50-metre breaststroke at the European Championships
Her time of 30-point-9 seconds saw her qualify seventh fastest overall.
That final takes place Wednesday evening in Rome.
