Brendan Boyce finished 10th in the 35k walk at the European Championships in Munich Germany on Tuesday.
The Finn Valley man crossed the line in 2:38.03, just over 11 minutes down on the winner Miguel Angel Lopez of Spain.
With 15k to go, Boyce was placed 18th but he powered his way to a top ten finish.
At last months World Championships in Oregon, the Milford native finished 25th.
