The Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council says there needs to be an honest conversation about the capacity of areas to support refugees, versus the local housing need in the area.
Cllr Liam Blaney says the people of Donegal are welcoming and supportive, and that will not change.
However, he said there needs to be consideration of the wider issues, particularly as some refugees are being put in totally unsuitable situations by people making large amounts of money from the state………..
